  1. A friend of mine is selling his very limited edition strat via ebay (link below). This is a great guitar that I've spent time playing myself, it just doesn't suit his needs. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160840072450&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:GB:1123 It's US made, s/s/s, black with a chrome guard and knobs with a black and chrome headstock. It has a bound body, locking tuners and only 120 were produced, he may be open to trades (something like 2 guitars or guitar plus cash), pm me with offers of trades or bid on ebay to buy outright. Trade wise, he'd be fairly open but it has to be half decent, he wants a good bridge humbucker and preferably a trem
  2. The things I don't like about the LP studios are a flat top, no binding and dot inlays don't look good to me (though some have normal inlays). That being said I don't think those features are worth the extra $$ for a Gibson LP. So I cheaped out and got an Epiphone when I wanted a Gibson. I would have gone for the Goldtop Studio Raw Power if only it had normal inlays instead of dots. All actual studios have a carved top and trap inlays. To answer the OP "why do some not care fore the cheaper models" Because they're idiots
  3. Beautifull! Didn't really need a case of SG GAS tho!
  4. Well, he still whines like a woman about his Metallica days. What were the people at MF thinking when they didn
  5. You must be wrong, don't you know gibson qc is terrible:thu: Glad you like her and I know what you mean:wave:
  6. So, a fake been offered for real money eh? I thought the smart people decided that didn't happen?
  7. The modern gibson logo has an open style "o", not sure if it's that open usually and am away from mine at the mo
  8. Bullpussy. You can't feel the difference. Sniff, sniff. Troll. I like epi's, I liked mine stock, and I liked it more with the p'up swap but they don't FEEL the same, which is a fact I atribute to the nitro finish on the gibson. I don't think the epi feels cheap (I think any gloss poly finished neck is liable to feel less woody) All in all, they're guitars that are fine at their price point. They're solid, giggable stock and hold their tune (my mik even has a long tennon:confused:)
