Well, I finally got a chance to try an Excelsior... of course I loved it and put it on layaway. I figure now is a good time to try and move some stuff I'm not using. I have this Fuzz War. It works great and is in near mint condish, I'm just not overly fond of the voicing. Bit too raspy for me. I'd like $110 Shipped and Pp'd. I wouldn't mind trading though, I love oddball effects. I'm pretty set on guitars and amps, although I might be interested in a Fender spec's tele body routed for Filtertrons (preferably just one).

Wonderful amp. I recently spent a good 45 minutes in guitar center with a vintage Silvertone (the one that comes in the amp case) and one of the DRRI. Tonal heaven. HNAD!

I'd love to have that jag, but I'd probably make that trade, myself, for the reasons already given.

Looking good! I'm scheduled to graduate college next May (if all goes well, it's going to be a hell of a semester). I know it won't happen for a long while after that, but one of the things I'm really looking forward to is getting a house and building my own man cave.

This thread probably isn't getting updated anymore. We are on the Good Trader List III in 2.0, and this one is way behind that one. Plus, I have my doubts that anything we do in the legacy forums will carry over.

I'm not updating the list right now because it isn't going to carry over to the new forum. It's already confusing enough and if I start adding I won't know who made it or who didn't, this way I know that as of the last update anything after that can be added. Of course I originally thought that it would be a week or two and now it looks like it's dragging out. Are you keeping track or are we going to resubmit stuff after a certain date? If so, what date? I've done a fair amount of deals in the past couple weeks, so I want to get all that written down. Edit: nevermind, I read your update post.

I can certainly attest to the smell of a new Gibson. I just bought an SG Classic, and normally when I buy a new guitar, it hangs on the wall at home. This one has been living in the case when not in use, so every time I open it I get a big whiff of that smell. Awesome. This was my first nitro finished guit so its all new to me. Anyway, sweet! Congrats again!

Yeah I want to to another Gibson Vs. Epi comparison video with my stock Epi G400. Should be interesting. As long as your playing it will be great. HNGD! I absolutely love SGs. I haven't played one I didn't like yet.

Looking to buy a Chrome Bigsby B5. Has to be a modern American model, as it's going on a Vibramate. I need it include the spring, but don't need the screws, but it can be used and/or worn. I just went to check prices and they have gone up significantly in the last two years and was hoping one of you lovely people had one in your parts box.

Seriously, though, I bet it's your pots, especially if you got them from a shop, they seem to always have 250- 500k pots. And actives aren't gonna kick the hell out of your passives. They are really meant to have less noise and handle lots of distortion and long signal chains.

It has some issues though. The main one is that I think there is something wrong with the truss rod. The neck is flat, and you can get nice low action, but the rod doesn't seem to make any difference to the relief. It has a scratch on the face of the headstock, a nick right below where your arm rests on the body. The neck volume pot doesn't work, and there is general wear and tear on the hardware. Missing two of the screws from the neck pickup ring. The high e string kept breaking at the stoptail, so I started stringing over the stoptail, which fixed the problem. Includes an SKB Hardshell Case, these are very nice cases. Has some scratches on the outside but functions perfect, and includes keys. I can split up the case and guitar if that suits you better. $325+ shipping, or see trade list below. Vox Valvetronix 15watter. This is the first edition, not the new one that came out a few months ago. A great practice amp/jam amp. I gigged it once, even (it was a small gig, admittedly). Its in 8.5/10 condition. Some little nicks in the tolex. I swapped the stock speaker for a stocker out of an Epi VJ, seemed opened up the sound a bit. It's a fairly dark amp, so it sounds really nice with telecasters and SGs, or with a good neck humbucker for thick jazz tones. Make me an offer Last is a brand new Bigsby B500.
