  2. Sure thing. I meant that the guitars were a little loud and I couldn't hear the drums. Nice sound never the less...
  3. hey jamshack, listening to Judge Me right now. Listening on crappy computer speakers. The vocals sound great. Is that you singing? never mind I see that on your profile. You sound good. The guitar tone sounds awesome, but they are a tad too loud IMO. I can't really hear the drums on these speakers. Even the cymbals seem low to me, which is odd to say, because I usually think cymbals need to be turned down. Listening to Average Man now. The intro vocals seem to have a little too much verb or something. We you looking for a big room sound for this? I like the layering on this track a lot. Drums just kicked in, it sounds like there is some pumping from compression??? Cool stuff though dude... I'm gonna add ya...
  4. ok guys... let me have it. I'm prepared for the worst... This is metal/hardcore... http://www.geocities.com/thesweetfamily@sbcglobal.net/cookiecrumbs.mp3 i think you'll have to right click and save as bad room, bad drum kit, ok guitar rig, good bass rig, tracked separately and mixed in cubase... I'm a noob, so be gentle.

I agree, 100% about the drums and vocal. But over all this sounds REALLY good to me. I'm about to post something that I think sucks by comparison. I LOVE the guitars on this. you said this was a POD right? How do those work? I think I need one....
  6. Originally posted by C JoGo Give Peace a Chance i love the drums in this mix. the snare cuts right though, and the kick has a nice thump. The guitars were a little overpowering, they seemed to consume everything.
  7. Originally posted by Hush Anyway would love to hear some feedback on Spirit of Joy Sounds great in my headphones. I'd say the drums could come up a little. I don't have a problem with the reverb, I think it fits the overall "airy" feel of the tune. The bongos (i think that's what they are) surprised me a little when they came in so hard to the left...
