Studiomaster has announced the introduction of the 16-2 BP 16 channel, stereo rackmount mixer. The 16-2 BP is the perfect choice for permanent and portable audio considerations, nightclubs, electronic keyboards and more.

The 16-2 BP boasts a full 16 XLR microphone input complement -- (14 balanced XLR/RTS balanced/unbalanced line mono channels, with two balanced XLR/RTS balanced/unbalanced stereo line combo channels). Mono channels 1 14 provide three band EQ with mid sweep, channel direct outputs, inserts, two discreet auxiliary sends, LED overload indicator, PFL listen and 60 mm faders. Channels 15 & 16 provide the same features with the exception of a two-band channel EQ, but with the ability to use the XLR microphone and the stereo line inputs simultaneously.

Other features include: 48v global phantom power, balanced XLR outputs, output inserts, 12 segment LED metering, stereo playback bus with independent level control, stereo record bus with independent level control, headphone bus with level and 60 mm master faders. The 16-2 BP also occupies only a scant six rack spaces and features convenient back patching, keeping the cables tucked neatly away from the front panel controls. The 16-2 BP features rugged all-steel construction and as with all Studiomaster mixing consoles, is also internally modular.

Available: Mid February 2001. Suggested retail price: $649.00
