Sennheiser's new HD 477 and HD 497 are the latest models in the company's adrenaline-laced 400 Series. Developed to bring the famous Sennheiser sound to a younger, on-the-move market, the 400 Series is highlighted by stylish design and affordable price points. The two new models have been optimized to provide a wide dynamic range and robust, full-bodied bass even at low or medium volumes. Crisp stereo resolution and silky, transparent treble add to a crystal-clear listening experience. Both feature a two-year warranty.
Because many active users will be plugging in while on the go, the headphones' sleek, lightweight design provides effortless comfort and flexibility. In addition, the headphones are engineered for long-lasting performance and ruggedness, with replacement parts easily available at audio retailers nationwide. Both units are very efficient and are perfectly matched to today's portable equipment. The HD 497 has extended response at both ends of the musical spectrum (24-22,000 Hz), while the HD 477 boasts a frequency response of 37-21,000Hz.
"In creating the HD 477 and HD 497 headphones, we've injected the same edgy style that today's young, hip audio lovers are known for," says Rob Douglas, Sennheiser headphone and medi@coustics brand manager. "Both models offer affordability, versatility and, of course, legendary Sennheiser sound - all in an eye-catching, durable design that fits right in with our customers' high energy lifestyles."
