Housed in a magneticalIy-shielded, single-rack-space enclosure, the SX115R features eight standard grounded AC receptacles and improved EMI/RFI filtering circuitry. Six of these receptacles may be switched on or off by the user via an illuminating red rockerstyle switch, while two remain permanently on. A power LED lights up when the unit is plugged in, while a self-test circuit and additional LED indicator assures the user that the unit is functioning properly.

The SX115RT model includes a remote turn-on capability, and the SX115RL model adds two front-panel connectors for Littlite® gooseneck lamps.

New Frontier Electronics' patented Series Mode technology is superior to conventional MOV circuitry. It provides proven 15-amp protection, stopping surges of up to 6,000 volts, and does not produce ground contamination.

The SX115R meets the most stringent government purchase specifications for powerline surge suppressors. Its Federal Grade A, Class 1, Mode I (A-1-1) rating assures the user of dependable protection from destructive spikes, surges and inductive transients.
