Vienna Symphonic Library’s proprietary free sample player runs optional MIRx add-ons

Vienna, April 2, 2014 – The Vienna Symphonic Library team has updated their free Vienna Instruments player with the ability to integrate the optional MIRx Reverb Mixing Extensions. A dedicated one-month limited time offer rewards purchases of Vienna Symphonic Library products during the month of April 2014 with free MIRx add-ons worth up to $244. The minimum purchase to receive a free MIRx product is $400.

Direct Access to Renowned Concert Halls and Sound Stages

Based on Vienna’s revolutionary MIR (Multi Impulse Response) convolution technology, the MIRx Reverb Mixing Extensions were launched in August 2013, providing an easy and affordable way to integrate the stunning acoustics of two halls of the Vienna Konzerthaus as well as the famed Teldex Scoring Stage in Berlin directly into the Vienna Instruments PRO player. MIRx offers the same sonic quality of the company’s highly acclaimed mixing solution Vienna MIR PRO and its RoomPacks. With hundreds of includedpresets for specific instrumentation and stage settings, it promises a perfectly balanced orchestral sound with just a few mouse clicks. Now, the company’s free Vienna Instruments sample engine has been updated to support the MIRx Extensions as well. The updated software is available for download at the Vienna Symphonic Library website.

Users who purchase Vienna Symphonic Library products totaling $400 or more between April 1 and April 30, 2014 will be rewarded with a free MIRx add-on of their choice. A purchase value of $800 or more qualifies for two free MIRx products, and purchases of at least $1,200 will yield three free MIRx Reverb Mixing Extensions. The offer is valid for accumulated purchases of Vienna Symphonic Library sample library products during the month of April 2014, including all Vienna Instruments Collections and Bundles, the Vienna Special Editions as well as the 77 individually available Single Instruments.
