Line 6 to Issue New Flextone Amp

Line 6 introduces the Flextone XL, adding a 100W Stereo, 2x12 open-backed combo to the highly successful and critically acclaimed line of Flextone Series Digital Guitar Amplifier Systems. The Flextone XL utilizes the same patented Line 6 digital modeling technology found in the AX2 212 and Flextone Series Digital Guitar Amplifier Systems, POD Direct Recording Amplifier System, and Amp Farm Plug In for Pro Tools TDM.

"Developed to meet the demands of the Line 6 Artist Advisory Board, the Flextone XL brings unprecedented tonal flexibility to the classic stereo 2x12 combo," announced Doug Provisor, VP of Sales and Marketing.

The Flextone XL features 16 TubeTone Amp Models, an equal number of digital effects setups, and four programmable channels. It Is also fully compatible with the Floor Board foot controller ($299) which adds wah, volume pedal, tap tempo and tuner functions plus twelve additional programmable channels and 16 factory preset channels. The Flextone XL's stored sound locations are also accessible with the FB4 foot controller.

Flextone XL ($999) will be available in late October 1998.
