Digidesign, the North American Distributor for Focusrite products, and BLUE Microphones have teamed up to develop three bundles featuring Focusrite Platinum Series models and the new Bluebird microphone specifically developed by BLUE for Digidesign.

The Bluebird employs a transformerless Class A discrete amplifier circuit. The Bluebird's neutral character and rich midrange response make it an ideal microphone for recording vocals, drums, electric guitar, piano, and most acoustic instruments. The Bluebird ships in an elegant, maple-toned wood box for storage and shipment. It will also be bundled with the BLUE BirdNest pop filter, BirdCage shock mount and premium Blueberry cable.

The VoiceMaster Pro Pak features the VoiceMaster Pro channel strip mated to the Bluebird microphone and its accessories. The Focusrite 24-bit/96 kHz A-D card is also included in this bundle. The VoiceMaster Pro features a Class A mic pre, instrument-level input, a latency-free monitoring section for seamless connectivity to today's DAWs, an Opto-expander, an Opto-Compressor, a Tube Sound Circuit, a Vintage Harmonics circuit and much more. This bundle will have a special price of $1,299 US, a substantial saving from the suggested retail price of $1,985 US.

The TwinTrak Pro Pak will also be married to the Bluebird microphone, the BLUE BirdNest pop filter, the BirdCage shock mount, and a premium Blueberry cable. The dual-channel TwinTrak Pro features a Class A mic pre, instrument-level input, a stereo, latency-free monitoring section, built in D-A, a stereo/mono Opto-Compressor, a unique "scoop" EQ, and the availability of Focusrite's 24-bit/96 kHz A-D card option. The TwinTrak Pro Pak will have a special price of $1,099 US, a saving from the suggested retail price of $1,635 US.

Rounding out this bundle trilogy will be the TrakMaster Pak, featuring the TrakMaster Channel Strip. The aforementioned Blue components will all be a part of this bundle as well. The TrakMaster features a Class A Mic pre, instrument-level input, an Opto-Compressor, a voice/instrument EQ, and the availability of Focusrite's 24-bit/96 kHz A-D card option. The most affordable of these bundles, the TrakMaster Pak will retail for $1,335 US but will sell for $899 US.
