On the heels of its launch of DART CD-Recorder Version 4, Dartech, Inc. is accelerating its momentum with the introduction of DART Karaoke Studio for immediate download and Internet sales. Karaoke Studio packs DARTs DeVocalizer, an easy-to-use tool to remove the main vocal of most commercial recordings, with everything else you need to make, play and record Karaoke.

The fun centers on the DART Karaoke Player screen that displays song lyrics synchronized with Karaoke music. At the Player screen users can simply sing along or record their performance. Microphone and attitude are not included.

Karaoke is growing in popularity in clubs in America and around the world, noted Dartechs audio products guru Dave Sadler. Karaokes a cultural icon weve seen in two significant American motion pictures in 2000: Keeping The Faith (Ben Stiller sets up an ecumenical Karaoke Party) and Duets (Gwyneth Paltrow competes in Karaoke contests). DART Karaoke Studio will have broad consumer appeal, spreading this phenomena to home computer users.

Adding to that broad appeal is DART Karaoke Studios music and lyric selection, which are almost limitless. DART bundles its own DART CD-Recorder software that allows users to capture and use music from any analog or digital source, most notably home stereo systems, audio CDs or MP3 files. Users may import and edit lyrics for the Karaoke Player from liner notes, the Internet or simply from listening and transcribing the words into any text editor. Some preview users of the software had the most fun creating their own lyrics.

A full-featured trial version of DART Karaoke Studio is available for download immediately at www.dartpro.com.

At a very reasonable price of $149.95, direct to consumer, Karaoke Studio allows you to:

    • Remove the main vocal from most commercial stereo recordings,
    • Synchronize lyrics with music,
    • Play music on your computer with scrolling lyrics, and
    • Sing-along and record your own performance with your recordings, and
    • Rip and burn music CDs.

The Rip and Burn program included in DART Karaoke Studio is a basic version of DARTs CD-Recorder Version 4, which received rave reviews on the Internet. It garnered five "stars" out five possible from 5star-shareware.com. Tucows.com awarded it five cows out of five, and rocketdownload.com scored it STUPENDOUS with five emots out of five.
