Arboretum Announces Hyperprism 2.5

Arboretum's new Hypeprism version 2.5 PowerMac stand-alone now includes Tube/Tape Saturator, Harmonic Exciter, and Bass Maximizer, as well as three brand new plug-ins, for a total of 42 different processing algorithms in one single package!

The new plug-ins are:

Granulator - An aggressive, adventurous effect. Imagine chopping up your audio into lots of tiny pieces, rearranging it in interesting and amazing ways, and spewing it out the other end. The user controls the grain size and randomization as well as the speed and density of the spread. It's like a sonic food processor!

Formant Pitch Shift - A technology entirely different from time-based pitch shifting, offering a more natural sounding result. Real time formant shifting also creates some very unusual effects, allowing you to virtually change the size of a singer's head and throat. Pitch shift and formant shift are adjusted in semitones.

HyperPhaser - This unique "modulated filtering" effect has six separate resonant filters, configurable as either band pass or band reject, all under LFO control. A wide variety of results are possible, from slow filter sweeps to intense resonant phasing. The unique ability of the effect to create either spectral notches or peaks allows the user unprecedented control over the character of the phasing/flanging effect.
