  • Cleartone Strings Introduce 80/20 Bronze

    By Guest |

Cleartone Strings has finally expanded their product lineup to include 80/20 bronze strings. Previously known for long-life treated phosphor bronze strings only, Cleartone now has a complete family of acoustic strings for players to choose from.

All Cleartone Strings feature the patented and award winning Cleartone Treatment that is designed to extend string life 3-5 times longer while maintaining the natural feel and sound of traditional strings. “80/20 bronze strings have always been known for losing tone quickly,” says Joe Iacobellis, Director of Marketing for Cleartone Strings. “But 80/20 bronze also has the brightest tone of any material, making it ideal for strummers to pickers alike. With our patented Cleartone treatment, players who prefer brighter tone don’t have to compromise bright tone for long life,” adds Iacobellis.

Launched in 2005, Cleartone Strings have garnered rave reviews from hobbyist to industry veterans alike for a clean, bright sound and long life without tonal compromises. Owned by Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers, Cleartone Strings are made in North Hollywood, CA. Cleartone 80/20 bronze strings will start shipping to dealers in November 2010 and will retail for $21.
