PROCO SOUND’S UPDATED EVOLUTION PRODUCT LINE

TAKES CENTER STAGE AT 2019 NAMM SHOW

Enhanced Rugged Instrument and Microphone Cables

Feature Low Capacitance Design for Great Tonal Properties

ANAHEIM, CA, JANUARY 25, 2019 – RHC, manufacturer and supplier of a wide array of audio, video and lighting equipment, unveils its updated HYPERLINK "http://www.procosound.com" ProCo Sound EVOLUTION product line of instrument and microphone cables at the 2019 NAMM Show (RHC Booth #11510).

The ProCo EVOLUTION series of upgraded, affordable cables are engineered for sonic performance with dual shielding and 100 percent oxygen-free wire, which is extruded at the company’s Massachusetts wire facility. The entire line has all OFC (Oxygen-free copper) conductors and shielding for long lasting protection against signal degradation from oxidation.

Great-sounding and built to be durable enough for daily use, these cables are equipped with a 'soft touch' jacket and Neutrik connectors. Featuring genuine Neutrik XLR's and 1/4" connectors with gold contacts and 360-degree strain relief, ProCo Sound’s EVOLUTION line is designed for sustained performance and ultimate pull strength.

The EVOLUTION line’s maximum density spiral shield provides incredible EMI/RFI shield protection and excellent flexibility. In addition, EVOLUTION quad mic and patch cables reduce EMI/RFI interference by as much as 90 percent over standard two-wire designs. The updated EVOLUTION line of cables is ideal for a variety of applications including live/touring musicians as well as fixed install-type facilities like theatres, concert halls, houses of worship, auditoriums and stadiums.

“We are excited to introduce our upgraded EVOLUTION product line of instrument and microphone cables at the 2019 NAMM Show,” says Darius Seabaugh, Vice President of Marketing for RHC. “EVOLUTION products must pass stringent quality control measures before they leave our factories – we control the processes and QC measures from beginning to end. Since we internally control the complete pipeline from wire extrusion through manufacturing to final testing, we are able to pass along cost savings that other manufacturers simply cannot offer. This enables us to provide incredible value to music makers worldwide.”

Since 1974, ProCo Sound has been a leading manufacturer for musical instrument retailers and sound contractors. ProCo offers a catalog of 1,400 audio interface products and has produced over 65,000 custom solutions, ranging from products as simple as guitar and microphone cables to complex 256-channel digital snakes, in-ear monitor controllers and facility distribution systems.
