TerraTec Introduces USB MIDI Controller

Plug & Play taken literally: With the MIDI Master USB, the German audio specialist TerraTec presents a keyboard which requires only one cable connection -- start playing immediately. The system combines professional features with the simplest imaginable operation, presenting itself as the ideal input interface for home and project studios. The MIDI Master USB is available immediately.

The keyboard features 49 full-size keys whose touch-sensitivity can be conveniently adjusted to the individual needs of the player. The modulation wheel, like the ergonomic control slider, are also adjustable and can be freely assigned with MIDI controller commands. However, the MIDI Master USB develops its full functionality only with a variety of useful tools, which include the obligatory MIDI reset and octave switches as well as a numeric keypad with 10 keys and a 3-digit LED display. And to avoid having to reenter everything for every session, ten programmable preset memories are available.

Integrating the MIDI Master USB in the existing peripheral devices could not be any easier, thanks to its USB function: after installing the driver under a PC or Mac operating system, the keyboard is immediately available as input and output device. Because: The OUT jack can also be used as independent MIDI interface for the connection of additional devices and can be addressed by any suitable music software. Thanks to the flexible design of the power supply, which can be carried out via USB or optional power supply, the MIDI Master USB can be used with ease and everywhere, e.g. in pure MIDI operation without USB. Between stationary use at the PC and live operation at the favorite expander -- all possibilities are open.
