  • Sims Audio Releases The Primus A25 Midi/USB Controller

    By Guest |

The PRIMUS a25 MIDI/USB controller includes a 25 key MIDI/USB keyboard controller as well as a demo software bundle from Native Instruments. The PRIMUS controller features both line and microphone level inputs so it can also function as a USB interface.

The PRIMUS is USB bus powered and has a direct monitoring switch for latency free monitoring. The size is compact enough to allow complete portability so it is ideal for studio or location recording work. The PRIMUS has pitch bend/modulation wheels, eight assignable MIDI controller knobs/encoders, and five editable internal user banks.

In addition, a demo bundle of software from Native Instruments including B4II (tone wheel organ simulator) Pro53 (Prophet 5 simulator), FM8 (FM synth) and Battery 3 (drums sampler) is included with PRIMUS. This bundle allows the user to choose from a large library of different key/percussion sounds straight out of the package.

The PRIMUS a25 has an MSRP of $270 USD, and will be available in the first quarter of 2008.
