New UX96 USB MIDI Interface from Yamaha
By Guest |
If you're an actively mobile musician with a Yamaha synth, or just need a compact interface for a few devices, the new UX96 USB MIDI interface can pack an awful lot of punch for its size.
Working with the UX96 is simple. Just plug it into your computer and attach your MIDI devices. The UX96 is powered via the USB connection, so there's no wall wart to worry about. Drivers are included, and the interface works with both Windows and MacOS platforms.
With its MIDI IN and OUT connector, the UX96 offers 16 channels of MIDI in and out, but the unit can really shine when used with a synth equipped with a "To Host" serial connector. That serial connection allows you to have a total of up to 32 channels of MIDI in and 96 MIDI out - with a total of just four cables plugged into the interface.
