IK Multimedia releases iKlip Stage, the free page-turning and score management companion app for iKlip products

July 31, 2014 - IK Multimedia, the leader in mobile music-creation apps and accessories, is proud to announce the release of iKlip Stage, a free page turning and score management app for iPad. It makes it easy to organize and perform with music scores, lyrics, tabs and more. Designed for use with IK's iKlip range of tablet holders and mounts - like the new iKlip Xpand, iKlip 2, iKlip Stand and iKlip Studio - it's an ideal tool for practicing at home, recording in the studio and performing on stage.

Effortless performance
Organization is at the heart of iKlip Stage, which is why its interface is so simple. It features a two-page system - FILE and LIST - that lets you quickly and easily import score files and assemble them into setlists for performance. iKlip Stage supports a wide variety of popular file formats: PDF, TXT, RTF, PNG, JPG, BMP and TIFF, all of which are automatically displayed by iKlip Stage as easy-to-view thumbnail-sized previews. Creating setlists is as easy as dragging and dropping the files you'd like to use. The free version of iKlip stage lets you import 30 files and create 2 setlists, more are available through registering an iKlip holder or via in-app purchase.

Streamlined control
When you're ready to perform, iKlip Stage gives you a full-screen view of your selected score that works in both portrait and landscape orientations. To turn the pages, just swipe left or right. Though iKlip Stage is easy to use with your touch screen, it can also be controlled in more advanced ways: Use IK's iRig BlueBoard to turn pages with your feet from the floor, or try iRing for touchless gestural control by waving your hand left or right in front of your iPad's camera. But no matter how it's controlled, iKlip Stage lets you take your practice sessions and live performances to the next level.

iKlip Stage is free and available now on the App Store^SM. The free version lets users import 30 files and create 2 setlists. By registering an iKlip holder, users will be able to import 60 files and 4 setlists. Unlimited setlists are unlockable via a one-time $9.99/€8.99 in-app purchase.
