    IMSTA announces the first annual IMSTA FESTA Chicago Top Music Technology Companies, High Profile Panelists coming to SAE Institute Chicago

    Toronto, ON ° June 9, 2015: On Saturday, July 25th, 2015, The International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) will host a roster of high profile panelists and top technology exhibitors, master classes and an international song competition at the annual celebration of Music Technology event. Hosted by SAE Institute, IMSTA FESTA will take place at the SAE Institute campus at 820 N. Orleans Street in Chicago.

    As a non-profit organization, IMSTA has had global success hosting events in Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto since 2007. Taking place in Chicago for the first time, IMSTA brings an exciting networking event co-sponsored by the SAE Institute, Broadjam, Sweetwater Sound, GRAMMY P&E Wing, NAMM and Keyboard, Electronic Musician and Tape-Op magazines.

    The IMSTA FESTA Professional Panel Series will present educational panels on how to make money with your music, developing your EDM business, as well as information about publishing and licensing within the music industry.  Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley, Martin Atkins and Ricco Lumpkins are among the list of professional industry leaders who will bring a fresh perspective on music production and the industry.

    Top Musical Instrumental Technology companies such as Avid, Celemony, FabFilter, Image Line, Native Instruments, PreSonus, Propellerhead and Solid State Logic will all be together under one roof to interact with music makers face-to-face. Many exhibiting companies will host scheduled Master Classes focusing on advanced use of popular products like Maschine, Melodyne and Solid State Logic mixers. During the event, guests can win raffle prizes that will be given away every hour on the hour from these top audio technology companies.

    IMSTA FESTA Chicago will also be the venue for live Song Reviews where experienced industry professionals offer insightful, educated, one-on-one appraisals of songs brought to the show by attendees.  The event will culminate in the regional crowning of a finalist in the IMSTA FESTA Song Competition to select a winner for songs previously submitted for the event.  The winner of the song competition get a chance to win a FREE trip to Santorini, Greece to be part of a song camp at Black Rock Studios.  The deadline for song submission is July 4, 2015.

    IMSTA FESTA Chicago continues IMSTA’s work to educate and foster a conversation with music software and hardware users and manufacturers on the value of purchasing music software products they use rather than using illegal versions of products. The event helps promote IMSTA’s central message and slogan ‘buy the software you use.’
