MELVILLE, NY, April, 2014 - Blackstar Amplification is proud to be a prize and backline sponsor for this year's ErnieBall Battle of the Bands contests. Multiple opportunities are being offered this year, including The Showdown on Cedar Street, Welcome To Rockville, Rock On The Range, and the coveted Ernie Ball Warped Tour Battle Of The Bands, giving bands a chance to play for thousands of concert-goers at premiere music festivals.
The Ernie Ball Warped Tour Battle of The Bands competition will give 200 bands the opportunity to perform at the Warped Tour, and four finalists the chance to perform at an industry showcase. The finalists will also receive a prize package that includes Blackstar ID:Core 20 combo amps and more. One band will then be selected as the Grand Champion and awarded $20,000 in gear, including two Blackstar ID:100 half stacks, as well as a $15,000 Guitar Center shopping spree, a 3-song EP, and a feature in Alternative Press magazine.
Other competitions including the Showdown on Cedar Street, Welcome To Rockville, and Rock On The Range each give one band a chance to perform and win $15,000 in music gear, including Blackstar ID:60 combo amps, an Ernie Ball string endorsement, and more.
