  • New Version of Spark for TDM Systems

    By Guest |

TC WORKS is showing a new hi-end version of SPARK supporting Pro Tools 24Mix and featuring audio restoration facilities.

SPARK is a real time digital audio editor for MacOS with a new approach to stereo-based audio editing: Real time processing and mastering featuring a unique Browser window, with integrated Wave editing, project file management and play list all at once. SPARK includes 12 VST real time Plug-Ins.

The new Hi-End version adds real time De-noising and De-clicking to Spark's already impressive processing portfolio, allowing users to restore material with tape hiss or click problems with floating point accuracy. The restoration facilities do not require a Pro Tools system to be present.

Pro Tools users now also have access to TDM Plug-Ins from inside Spark, a new TDM FX window allows for up to 4 TDM Plug-Ins to be inserted in addition to the 4x5 native Plug-Ins, enabling the user to build FX chains with TDM and native Plug-Ins running at the same time.

"The new Hi-end version of Spark with added TDM support and audio restoration features brings the best of both worlds together: full integration with Pro Tools and access to native Plug-Ins at the same time," comments Ralf Schluenzen, CEO of TC WORKS. "Now the users can take advantage of Pro Tools reliable performance and floating point processing for certain applications without having to switch between applications."

Spark for TDM will be available in March 2000.

Suggested Retail price: US $ 699 Upgrades from SPARK 1.0 available.
