    By Guest |

Yamaha<http://4wrd.it/YAMAHAPRWEB> Keyboard Division announces that the Piaggero<http://4wrd.it/PIAGGERO>Series of ultraportable digital pianos, including the NP-V60 and NP-V80, is now shipping. Combining the words piano and leggero, Italian for "light," these new 76-key digital pianos emphasize portability, interactive features and superior piano Voice quality.

"Finally, a digital piano that combines powerful functionality and an intuitive interface with a slim size and light weight," said Dane Madsen, marketing manager, Yamaha Electronic Keyboards. "Whether you're a total beginner or a veteran, the Piaggero is a great instrument that won't crowd your living space or slow you down for those impromptu gigs-on-the-go."

Featuring Yamaha's Graded Soft Touch keyboard action, the NP-V60 and NP-V80 are the perfect instruments for when space is at a minimum and the player requires mobility. Exclusive Yamaha Style content helps users enjoy the experience of playing with an ensemble, at the touch of a button. Both models weigh under 16 pounds, and feature 30 internal songs for use with the Performance Assistant function and lessons.

Additionally, they feature a Music Database that includes 305 song titles for quick keyboard set-ups.

Both the NP-V60 and NP-V80 feature hundreds of Voices and Styles at your fingertips. The NP-V80 also features an Intelligent Arpeggiator, which tailors keyboard grooves to the sound of the player's choice. Simply select a Voice and play a chord – the arpeggiator does the rest and makes you sound like a pro. The NP-V80 also comes with a USB-TO-DEVICE port for saving and loading song content, an enhanced speaker system and a footswitch/sustain pedal.

The NP-V60 and NP-V80 (MSRP: $499.00 and $599.00 respectively) are available at authorized Yamaha piano dealerships nationwide.
