    By Guest |

Providing unparalleled values, the PSR-E313 and the PSR-E213 portable keyboards, introduced at Winter NAMM 2007, offer a range of features and sound quality heretofore found only on models at much higher prices.

The PSR-E313 includes Flash ROM, which allows users to download and transfer songs into the keyboard for listening and learning. It also has 61 full-size keys with touch response, two-track sequencer, backlit LCD screen and a Music Database with over 200 preset records that make setting up the keyboard a breeze. It also features 482 instrument Voices, built-in reverb and XGlite, which offers amazing sound quality and greater compatibility with both Yamaha XG and third party software.

"The PSR-E313 has a wealth of easy-to-use features that smooth the way for users to reach their goal of playing music, including a Portable Grand button that resets the keyboard to piano from top to bottom," said Mark Anderson, marketing manager, Portable Keyboards, Yamaha Pro Audio & Combo Division. "Music Database provides complete setups by song title, 102 songs for learning with the Yamaha Education Suite and simple, one-button recording capability."

The PSR-E213 offers 61 full-size keys, 375 General MIDI and XGlite compatible voices for connecting to a computer. The model also features 32-note polyphony and nine digital reverb effects.

"This is the perfect beginner keyboard," said Anderson. "Until recently, many of the PSR-E213 features were found only in much more expensive keyboards, but Yamaha's technological innovation, design and worldwide distribution have managed to move powerful specifications down into entry level products."

The PSR-E313 (MSRP: $259.99) and the PSR-E213 (MSRP: $159.99) are scheduled to ship in May, 2007.
