Production efficiencies within Generalmusic's acoustic piano factory have allowed the company to launch new entry level digital pianos designed for the home, in elegant high gloss Ebony polyester cabinets more affordably.

The RP70c HPE, RP80b HPE by GEM represent the marriage of advanced digital technology and the traditional art of the fine piano-building in a cost-conscious product.

Using advanced digital sampling techniques (such as the unique 'FFT Merge' technology specifically developed by Generalmusic), the most interesting acoustic features of the world's finest grand pianos have been analyzed, and every slightest nuance of their sound has been faithfully reproduced. Both instruments offer a full Generalmusic sound set comprising of 444 voices, allowing easy and simple connection to home computers with respective software for interactive learning experiences.

The RP80 offers 64 new presets (including 10 exclusive acoustic and electric piano sounds) and 444 GM-GMX compatible orchestral sounds (via MIDI) including organs, choirs, strings, guitars and basses, that add exciting color and variety to your music. In the Effects section 22 Reverbs and 22 Modulation Effects (including Delay, Chorus, Dubbing, Phaser, Flanger, Ensemble and Rotary) associated with the presets enrich and personalize the performances. The presets and the main functions are easily operated thanks to the ergonomically designed control panel.

A practical sequencer with a capacity of 8,000 events lets you record and play back your own performances, and an internal library of 96 famous pieces of music written for the piano makes the RP80 the perfect partner for modern piano lessons. The RP70C offers the same high quality sounds and technology, without the panel user interface and recoding / playback functions.

The internal 20W + 20W stereo amplification system faithfully reproduces the complex sound diffusion of an acoustic piano, from the full tones of 'fortissimo' to the infinite subtleties of 'pianissimo'. Connect the RP's to other MIDI instruments, (internal 444 General midi voices available) expanders and computers. The two headphone sockets allow you to play and practice alone or with another person at any time of day or night, without disturbing anyone at all.

The cabinet with sliding lid and matching padded bench offers an elegant design. The high gloss Ebony finish is a perfect complement any style of interior decor.
