eMedia Music Announces "The My Piano Pack"
By Guest |
Just in time for the holiday season, eMedia Music announces the upcoming release of the My Piano Pack, a fun and innovative keyboard and software package that introduces an exciting new way for kids ages 6 and up to learn how to play piano. The My Piano Pack combines eMedia's award-wining My Piano CD-ROM with a touch sensitive full size 49-key MIDI controller.
My Piano stars a playful animated character named Pam the Piano, who guides the user through lessons written by former Juilliard School of Music instructor Irma Justicia, M.A. The program starts with the basics, such as going over proper hand position and names of notes, and moves on to playing songs and reading music. Games get children excited about learning while giving them a chance to build confidence by practicing their new musical skills.
My Piano includes other useful features that will have children playing right away. The animated keyboard shows them where to put their fingers while playing chords. When used with a MIDI keyboard, it will show them when they played incorrect notes and what they should have played instead. Song looping lets them repeat sections of songs, which makes practicing more difficult parts a breeze. Other valuable tools, such as a metronome and digital recorder, are also included. My Piano is the perfect way to introduce children to playing music!
Requirements: The My Piano Pack is compatible with both Windows (98/2000/NT/Me/XP/Vista) and Macintosh (OSX 10.2+).
Availability: The My Piano Pack will be available in October 2008 at computer and music retail stores nationwide and online at an estimated retail price of $129.95.
