Seattle, Sept. 13, 2018 – Joey Sturgis Tones, one of the gear industry’s fasted growing companies, has partnered with Periphery guitar player Misha Mansoor for Toneforge Misha Mansoor, an audio plugin that captures the heralded guitar player’s signature sound.

“I’ve always been inspired by what Misha has done with music and guitar, all the way back to the Ultimate Metal forum and the Andy Sneap forum days. I knew at some point we’d work together but I could never have imagined it at this capacity. I’m really thankful and honored to design an amazing guitar tone around his style and play,” explained Joey Sturgis about the partnership.

“I never thought I would have the opportunity to design a guitar amp plugin to my taste,” shared Misha, who walks users through the plugin via this video:https://youtu.be/iEFZjLewYoo. “When Joey Sturgis came to me with the idea, I was obviously ecstatic. I created a rather extensive wish list and gave him and his team as much input and direction as possible when it came to all aspects, but the focus was always on the tone, playability and versatility. I don’t know how they did it but they put together something that managed to go above and beyond my wish list, and I’m honored to have my name associated with such a genuinely powerful and inspiring plugin .”
