Hughes & Kettner is introducing a complete new line of guitar amplifiers at the International Music Show in Frankfurt, Germany. The highly successful ATTAX line has been thoroughly reworked to accommodate the needs of today's players for volume and variety. The new ATTAX amps are louder, meaner, with increased low-end performance and greater tonal flexibility than any other amps in their class. All amps are equipped with 12" RockDriver speakers by Celestion®, current-feedback power amps and a stylish new chrome front panel.

First in line is the MetroVerb, a dual-channel, 50-watt combo with 3-band EQ, FX loop and headphone jack. Easy to carry and attractively priced, the new MetroVerb is the right choice for the tone-conscious beginner or an ideal second amp for any guitarist.

The Club Reverb adds a Voicing control, which has a dramatic affect on the tone with the simple turn of a knob. Its 65-watt power amp pumps out plenty of volume for rehearsal or stage, making it ideal for the player who wants a compact but capable amp that can handle a broad variety of styles.

The new top-of-the-line Tour Reverb, comes in two flavors, head and combo. This 3-channel 100-watt amp features two independent 3-band EQs plus a Voicing control in the Lead channel. With individual Gain and Master Volume controls you can set up three completely independent foot-switchable sounds. Additional features such as the parallel FX loop, Speaker Out and Line Out make this powerful amp the right choice for a player in search of a very versatile amp that will easily hold up on stage without breaking the bank. Matching 4 x12" cabinets for the Tour Reverb head will be available as well.

Availability: Club Reverb, now; MetroVerb and Tour Reverb, April,1999.

    Price: To be announced.
