Artist Glenn Weber of New Orleans has created "The Lobster" electric solid body guitar. Featured in "Guitar Shop" magazine Jan. 1998, the Lobster is a complete hand carved guitar. The Lobster was created to find the most comfortable and practical guitar possible.

It has a one piece bolt-on neck in many choices of wood. 24.75", 25" and 25.5" scales are available, 22 frets on a rosewood, ebony, or maple fretboard with either medium or jumbo frets are available.

Hardware includes Sperzel locking tuners, Shaller roller bridge and solid brass headpiece that facilitates easy string removal and fretboard access. Pickup choices are also the choice of the individual, but the "basic" Lobster comes with Lawrence pickups which we find excellent. Different pickup wiring options are also available. The latest Lobsters feature a zero fret which we find plays and sounds much better than a standard nut.

The basic Lobster comes with side dots, but all manner of inlay and painted finishes are possible as I have been a professional artist for thirty years. Its' perfect balance and weight assure no sore shoulders after a long gig. Also, no special strings are required so you can still use your favorites, and our rear tuning allows you to easily tune to chords.

Production is very limited but delivery times are short and prices are reasonable.
