NASHVILLE, TN (January 8, 2018) Epiphone proudly presents the new Ltd. Ed. Slash Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO Premium Outfit designed by Guns N’ Roses legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Slash! Production of the new Slash Premium Outfit will be limited to only 100 guitars, each hand signed and numbered on the back of the headstock by Slash. The Premium Outfit includes a Custom Hard Shell Case with, a custom leather strap, and a Certificate of Authenticity.


In 2017, Slash was named Gibson Brands’ first Global Brand Ambassador. And to celebrate his new Premium Outfit, Slash came to Epiphone’s headquarters in Nashville, TN to hand sign and number all 100 Premium Outfits, which include a hard shell case with Slash’s “Skull and Top Hat” logo and a custom leather strap.

But if you miss out on one of the 100 signed Premium Outfits, you’re still in luck! Slash has authorized an additional 900 Ltd. Ed. Slash Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO guitars to be sold worldwide.  And both the Premium Outfit and the Ltd. Ed. Slash Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO guitar have the same specs and features designed by Slash with Epiphone’s luthiers in Nashville, TN.

Slash’s new signature models are made with a Mahogany weight-relief Les Paul body with a AAA Flame Maple Veneer top, a stunning Anaconda Burst finish, an Ebony fingerboard, Seymour Duncan "Slash" Humbuckers designed by Slash, Sprague "Orange Drop" capacitors, and a Certificate of Authenticity.  

Since Guns N’ Roses debut in 1985, Slash has rarely been seen on stage without a Les Paul and has probably done more to introduce young players to the sound of a Les Paul than any artist in the guitar’s 65-year history—with the except of Mr. Les Paul himself!  "The guitar player that you are when you first start out is really a magical time,” Slash told Epiphone.com. “Technically, you don't know that much but you play with all your heart and magic moments come from that.
