Yamaha Introduces New Split Lug Drums

Since their introduction, the Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage drum kits have offered musicians at every skill level professional sound and appearance at very attractive prices. Now, drummers in the market for a drum kit with classic, yet affordable styling have a realistic option with the exciting new high-gloss finish and split lug design Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage.

The Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage with Split Lugs series feature 8-ply Birch/Mahogany/Falkata shells and a wood grain-enhancing lacquer finish. Sets also include matching wood bass drum hoops, Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System (YESS), Air-Seal System shell and low mass split lug design for increased resonance.

"Drummers looking for a traditional set, but don't want to spend thousands of dollars, should consider this set," states Jerry Andreas, marketing manager, Yamaha Drums.

The gloss finish and split lug design is available in the same specifications and configurations (including the matching snare drum) of the Stage Custom Advantage, and retails for $1,499.
