SONOR ANNOUNCES “PLAYER” KIT
By HC News |
For Immediate Release:
GLEN ALLEN, VA –Sonor announces the launch of the Player kit, a new drum kit specifically designed for the gigging musician. The drums are the right size for travel without sacrificing tone. Set up is simple with a nod to the past and Player features the Black Galaxy Sparkle finish made popular by the now legendary Sonor Safari.
The poplar shells offer bright tone featuring great projection. The bass drum is 20”x 14,” the rack tom is 10”x 8” with a 14”x 12” floor tom. A 14”x 5” wooden snare rounds out the kit. Also included is an old school cymbal arm, which mounts directly to the bass drum allowing for the intrepid gigging drummer to carry one less cymbal stand.
The shells are cross-laminated for strength and superior tone. The kit features the TuneSafe tuning system and Remo heads are used all around
“These drums will fit in your compact car, set up nicely on a tight stage but will still deliver the power, projection and nuance expected from a Sonor-designed drum set,”
said product manager Larry Nelson. “The sizes are musical, yet portable. The look is timeless and a little retro. This set up will resonate, both musically and professionally,” he added.
The Player kit has a MAP of $449.00 and will be available in January, 2014.
