BitHeadz, Inc. has announced 'Phrazer Discrete Drums,' a content title for their loop composition software 'Phrazer'.

'Phrazer Discrete Drums' is based on the 12 CD 'Discrete Drums' library produced by Rick DiFonzo.

The title contains stereo drum loops for 30 different rock/alternative style songs. Each song contains up to 8 different parts including Intro's, Verses, Choruses, Fills, Turn Arounds, and Endings. These loops can then easily be manipulated for length, arrangement and tempo within Phrazer.

"All these drums were played live and digitally recorded using ProTools Mix24 through a Neve 8232 console." According to BitHeadz Sound Designer Adam Holland. He adds "The human feel of these loops come right through the speakers. Discrete Drums was recorded in a great sounding room at Hum Depot in Nashville TN, and the organic character brings a whole new dimension to a song. Now you can use the same drummer playing the same drum set for an entire song instead of playing one loop for 3 minutes and overdubbing the fills on top of it."

'Phrazer Discrete Drums' contains over 250 stereo loops which have been optimized for use in Phrazer. Each of the 16 bit files was recorded without effects in order to take complete advantage of Phrazer's built in DSP effects processors. 'Phrazer Discrete Drums' is slated for a November 1st release date with an MSRP of $69.00 USD.
