Hudson Releases Two Drum Videos

"Buddy Rich: At The Top" and "Classic Drums Solos and Drum Battles" are the latest titles to be released by leading music instruction video producer, Hudson Music, as part of their Classic Performance Series.

Recorded at The Top Of The Plaza in Rochester, New York on February 6, 1973, "Buddy Rich: At The Top" (suggested retail $24.95) features the legendary drummer at the height of his influence in a concert performance that remains one of the most sought-after Buddy Rich shows ever recorded. Included on the 65-minute video are definitive versions of "Love For Sale", "Time Check", "West Side Story", "Norwegian Wood" and "Basically Blues".

"Classic Drum Solos and Drum Battles" (suggested retail $24.95) presents fifteen of the worlds most famous jazz drummers in astounding, extended solos and rare drum duels filmed over the past four decades. Spectacular performances by Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Sonny Payne, Art Blakey, Ed Shaughnessy, Joe Morello, Chico Hamilton and others are included on the 60- minute videocassette.
