Alfred Music Publishing, the leader in educational print music publishing and instructional resources, releases the highly anticipated EpiK DrumS EDU, an educational DVD on how to record and mix real drum kits, by legendary Grammy®-nominated producer and engineer, Ken Scott. The instructional resource guide is produced in association with Lawson Music Media.
EpiK DrumS EDU exposes industry-proven techniques to recording and mixing real drum kits in an easy-to-follow, hands-on experience. The instructional DVD provides five drum grooves—played by iconic drummers of our time, running the gamut of drumming styles—as full multi-track sessions files for Cubase, Digital Performer, Logic, ProTools, Sonar, and Studio One, along with the .WAV files for every track. Audio is offered as ProTools sessions, fully mixed by Ken himself, as well as raw, un-mixed sessions for all six DAWs that let users compare and contrast their edited sessions against a solid model—per groove and at every step of the way.
