Signaling a commitment to the rapidly growing midrange and entry level drum markets, several series of feature-packed drums and drum hardware highlight the initial releases from Drum Workshops newly formed Pacific Drum & Percussion Division. According to DW president, Don Lombardi, the instruments and accessories have been developed as the first step in an international effort that brings together the worlds most successful drum designers and builders.

"Combining the expertise and experience of leading drum makers from both sides of the Pacific allows us to position our Pacific division as a truly international drum company," says Lombardi. "By taking advantage of the excellent quality and lower costs of off-shore manufacturing without abandon-ing the state-of-the-art American drum design and production controls that have made DW drums among the most respected musical instruments on the planet, we can now provide the worlds drum-mers with an unbelievable level of sound and performance at an unbeatable price."

Lombardi states that the first Pacific products will include the L-Series all-maple/Lacquer, C-Series composite/covered and E-Series economy drumsets as well as 900 heavy, 800 medium and 700 light-duty hardware, 600, 500 and 400 single and double bass drum pedals and a variety of multi-clamps, accessories and student pre packs -- with an expanding variety of drum and percussion products to be released in the coming months. Pacific Drums & Percussion are available through DWs exclusive network of music stores and drum specialty shops.
