Carvin's new P-Series bass line combines both electric and acoustic tones with the addition of piezo saddles, plus plenty of ways to blend your sound.
These basses include Carvin's J-99 neck pickup and their HB2 Alnico V humbucker in the bridge position. In addition to coil splitting the humbucker, knobs provide for blending of the two pickups, blending of the pickups and piezos, active tone controls, and a master volume with a pull-up switch that uses only the passive electronics. For even finer control, each individual piezo saddle has its own trim pot, which can be useful for for controlling the dynamics of each string when slapping.
