Hi All, My first post here so greetings from Ft. Lauderdale! I recently acquired an 80s era Cort Flying V. The guitar itself is in great shape, paint has a few cracks but I plan on trying to repair that with naphtha. The biggest concern is that the pickups and electronics are replaced, which is a shame. I believe this had Powersound pickups and active circuitry, however info on this is like a super light top E string in a haystack! The pickup rings _may_ have been changed, some pictures I saw online show cream colored rings but this one had gold which actually looks cool because it matches the bridge. I plan on restoring the electronics, any leads on schematics or where I can find parts would be much appreciated! Picture for reference (next to my UV777) Cheers!

Hey all, I just reviewed this ultra cheap Glarry GTL Semi-hollow, which is basically a thinline Tele with a humbucker in the neck. Usually I'm not as high on Glarry stuff as some of the YouTubers and other journalists. I do appreciate how accessible they make the electric guitar with sub-$100 prices, but the guitars I've been sent have just been awful and something that would frustrate a beginner more than help. This new one however is at least passable and is inspiring me to want to mod the hell out of it! With a unique color and a thinline construction I think it would be more fun than just upgrading another Affinity Tele. I'm going to be fixing this thing up to donate it to a local school so let me know what cool mods I should be doing to help make this guitar look and sound inspiring while also helping it take a beating from young students! Congratulations and Happy New Guitar Day. FWIW, it looks like the previous owner might have strung it left handed based on the way the saddles are arranged. You'll want to get it properly intonated and maybe a complete setup.

I have an Agile HARM 2003 / P90s that remains my fave! I did replace the ceramic pups. A few months ago, Kurt said I could have the Agile brand for only 1 million!

SEO knowledge is useful for some things but it does not ferret out the distinctions between the people who have a desire to play the acoustic guitar, or more importantly, the reasons why they have that desire. The acoustic guitar is not easy to play. There are people who try year-over-year to achieve certain satisfying skills with the acoustic guitar but, usually due to a lack of everything required to gain that skill set, it remains elusive. Denny Zager knows that. Zager eliminates the one key physical thing that impedes motor skills development and that's manipulating the acoustic guitar. He makes it physically easy to play and that in turn garners a market share of sales. Simple truth is many people are turned off by the playability of factory-produced guitars that have high action. Martin is among the worst for that because their philosophy is the player will make the changes to suit him. This assumes the player is a player and not a noob needing something that doesn't task him from the outset. Denny Zager knows this. He answers the noob's needs up front. I've read many Zager reviews by people claiming years of experience with the acoustic guitar, naming high-end makers and then contrasting them as distant seconds to Zager's guitars for playability, followed by championing the sound and quality as being equal to or better than (insert name brands here). The message in those claims is they are not experienced players. They are noobs who have been noobs for many years and will probably always be noobs. But, they have discovered an easy playing guitar like it's a vein of gold running through their property and are vocal about it, not realizing they are also publicly admitting their inexperience with the instrument but overtly claiming the opposite. The tween-lines drama tells the real story and Zager knows this is marketable. Smart guy.

They should pay me to run Harmony Central The site is pretty dead. They let it go to to hell, from the site it once was. There's been a few so called up grades, and I had over 111k One day I snipped a pic of it all, just before a HC software meltdown. You still can't edit inserted media attachment and remove them from the file. I have beta test a lot of stuff here, and no free Gibson guitar. JC should at least sent me a LG2 model acoustic. Maybe a 60's Les Paul Standard in Ice Tea with a decent flame top too. I'm not playing anywhere these days, but I might do some street buskin soon. If I get arrested, maybe someone will pay my bail out. I have all the stuff for some serious street buskin. One more issue is I go downtown almost everyday with my doggie and there's not many people there. The people that are hanging on the street are mostly bums, even poorer that I am these days. Freedom of expression is alive and well. I got songs to play and stuff to say.
