Are one of those are definetly brighter than others? Or more vintage/modern sounding? I'm able to check the P-94s in a shop in a semihollow but not the Phat Cats. They are much better pickups than the ones you mentioned, will cost about the same (although a discount is offered to forum members) and you can talk to the owner /builder personally and he'll tweak them to your liking.
