Members Rickvent
Anybody know the name of the latin beat instrumental song when Cheech & Chong are driving in the weed van? It sounds to me like 1, b7, 6, 6, b7, 1 and it has a lot of latin percussion stuff similar to War. Maybe it is by War.

Members Rickvent
I'm talking about an instrumental number that plays when they are driving the van back from Mexico.

Members Rickvent
I searched C&C and the movie and I can't find anything. It's a simple instrumental that follows the progression I put in my original post. Keyboard is the main voice. It has the 'War' sound.
Members the_gunslinger
I would do a google search to try and find the soundtrack to the movie, if there is one. It would definetly be on there. Maybe you can get it off Amazon.

Members Rickvent
You guys are like Sherlock Effin Holmes. Now I'm trying to buy the song without the movie dialouge. Amazon shows a band Skeewiff with a song by that title, but I don't know if it's the one I want.
Members tocs100
Cheech & Chong did a re-vamp of "Mexican-Americanos" on Jimmy Fallon last week--funnier than ever. Any news when their new movie comes out/starts filming?
Members Rickvent
It seems as the song was written for the movie by a group of session players that temporarily called themselves Yesca, probably only while they were working on the song/movie. It looks like the only recording is on the movie soundtrack. There is a currently working California Reggae band called Yesca that I assume is no relation.
