Members Darkstorm
Mass produced mid line import by Jackson or BC Rich. You didnt give option for mid price imports, more expensive then budget models less expensive the higher end.

Members John Backlund
If my name was on a guitar, I'd like it to be a little different-looking from whats already out there.......maybe something that reminded people of an unholy union between an old GE toaster and a Plymouth Belvedere....and I'd want them to cover several marketing levels, one being a line of mid-high end American built models and another a less expensive import line....so I could afford a few myself. Maybe find someone to form a company dedicated to manufacturing and marketing guitars of my design?I'll give it some thought.
Members danhan1113
Definately boutique/custom brand.I think of Suhr/Carvin/etc.On the other hand, big brands like Jackson, Fender, Gibson, Kramer, etc. were boutique brands at one time in their history. Members cross.bones
I think it would depend for me on the calibre and fans of the band. If im in a band with a young audience then I'd probably go for mid to lower price squier or Ibanez if not then I'd go the high end. Though having said that there is NOTHING wrong with squiers anymore so I'd probably get Squier to make me something based on something in their current line. Members Metalrulez
If I was to actually do the production thing the guitars would be 1,Made in USA.Why? Americans have to work to be able to buy anything no matter where it is made. 2,The highest quality possible 3,An original design for bodies not just Strat and LP copies.
