Members GAS Man
ACK! Looks like something Picasso puked up. Not to quote the "puked up" part, because I already said I liked it, of course, there's other guitars I rather have for 5-grand (rough guess on a negotiated price). But what you said made me think of - ".....or Salvador Dali"
Frets99
Sweet!!!! Very cool looking guitar. I fainted when I saw the price......

Members A-20
Well, its ugly. But in PG's hands anything looks cool. So I would gladly own it, though I would not pay big bucks for the right to do so. Nice flanger...

Members stormin1155
As big of an Ibanez fan I am, I'd have to pass on that one. I do have to give them points for originality...
Members Stricken
Do not want... However, the shape from the back, I like. Maybe a non-reverse, but double-cutaway Iceman (shaped exactly as above) would look nice...
Members jelloman
It looks like it would be heavy... is korina a lighter weight wood? or is it smaller than it appears?
Members Ferdinandstrat
It looks like it would be heavy... is korina a lighter weight wood? or is it smaller than it appears? If I am correct, Korina is lighter than mahogany...
Members GAS Man
If I am correct, Korina is lighter than mahogany... Yes, I believe from the feel that it is a bit lighter. I find that it imparts a little bit of a semi-hollow tone to a guitar. This is the description Warmoth uses on its wood selection menu "Korina, White (Terminalia superba): Its true name is Limba from Africa. White Korina is a medium to heavy weight wood Korina has a naturally waxy feel to it. The tone is very similar to Mahogany with added mids. An excellent tonal choice for hollow chambered bodies. With a Vintage Tint Gloss on it, it resembles the famous Korina Flying Vs of the late 50s. " Now compare that to their "Tone-O-Meter" for mahogany and this is what they say about Mahogany: We use African Mahogany in our body production. It is a medium to heavy weight wood with a Strat
Members Hemroidius
...say I had mad money - while I don't think I'd go out and buy one on a whim, that guitar is just un-pointy enough for me to dig it
