Members pine
I'm looking for a guitar case that provides a little more protection and structural rigidity than a $30 gig bag, but still has the shoulder straps so my hands are free to carry other gear. Are the SKB soft cases any good, or are there other suggestions from people who have and use them?
Members jdredskinsfan
http://goincase.com/products/detail/slim-bag-cl56063 It's expensive, but it's the best gig bag or case I've ever used. I've had it for about 4 months, brought it to gigs, and flown with it (it got checked on the way back) and it still looks basically brand new. My guitar has been very safe. Members cratz2
Best one I've ever owned is a Godin that came with my Detour. VERY nice. I also have a Kaces that originally cost about $60. It's definitely fuller than almost any other gig bag I've ever seen, but the Godin is nicer. Not sure if either of them came with backpack straps as I always take those off. Members EJStrat2Tone
G&L gig bags are the best! I don't even own a G&L. The PRS SE gig bag is also very nice.
Members mike42
I have a couple of the G&Ls, and agree they are really good bags. If you can get a deal on one you wouldn't go wrong. Having said that, I'm sure that there are better bags out there.
Members Mav64
www.reunionblues.com Yes I work for them. And they are the best gig bags on the planet. I've never spammed or pimped us since registering. Go to www.reunionblues.com/blog and watch videos of us dropping guitars off the roof of a 3 story building in our brand new RB Continental case. Kaces makes some very good cases and bags as well. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Well, if you need your hands free to carry the rest of your gear and you're moving through a crowded bar to set up, they really are pretty convenient
Members clay sails
PRS gig bags are incredible. I'm sure they're made in China by the same factory that produces the other high-quality bags.
Members Sikor
Check the http://www.tribalplanet.com/ They have also YT channel with "demos" showing how tough the bags are. Looks like a very nice stuff to me. And that expensive. I am gonna get one, when they come to store near me (they waiting for delivery).

I just got one of the RB Continental cases for my Strat, and I have to say it's the best gig bag I have ever seen, I have no worries carrying a guitar in one of these, it's damn near bulletproof. It's very easy to see that they put a whole lot of time and research into this bag at great expense. I'm going to get one for my 335 as well. I'm not spamming, I'm just a very impressed customer. Members boonestunes
best gig bag I've ever had (and still have) comes from Planet Waves/D'addario....got it with my players points. best padded bag I've ever seen, padded straps that don't bunch up, big storage pocket, reinforced at the headstock and above the bridge. I've got one left if you're interested.....
Members Patuney
Another vote for the PRS SE gig bags. Lightweight, plenty of padding, I use them for all my stage guitars(most of which just happen to be PRS SE's).
Members Belva
I like the Roadrunner cases. These are halfway between a gig bag and a standard hard case. Nylon wrapped around expanded polystyrene. More protection than a bag & not as heavy as a traditional hard case.
Members flori
Watch the video for this Tribal Planet bag.................'Mortal Kumquat' ....watch with awe as the bag is attacked by dangerous fruit............ http://www.northernmusiconline.co.uk/product/tpelec/ Hilarious!!
