Members mockchoi
Here's my question. I think I know the answer, but am wondering if anyone that KNOWS the answer can answer. Can I transport my guitar in an unpressurized hold in an airplane? So, basically, very little atmospheric pressure and fairly cold. It'll be a bangaround guitar, but I'd still just as soon not destroy it. Thanks!
Members McDuffie
It's not the cabin pressure or cold that damages guitar...
Members bsman
Sure. It's not like the guitar is going to explode, or anything. Just detune it to ensure there's no undue tension in the neck and you should be fine.
Members mockchoi
That video is funny. Please note I'm asking about an UN-pressurized hold, not checking the guitar as baggage on an airliner.
