Members Hoddy
That's fairly common with humbuckers.

Members Vintage55
Sounds like the springs that are around the adjustment screws are loose. If it's new, warranty might cover solving the problem. If used, you could pull the pickups and then pull (gently) on the springs to lengthen them and increase the tension on the pickups. Or replace them with new springs. Allparts should have some.

Members Into Nation
If they are just 'pivoting' around the center, that's normal. Also my Fender doesn't do that either but the mounting is different, it has three adjustment screws as opposed to two.
Members twotimingpete
pivoting is normal. as long as they stay in place and don't fall out of the guitar, you're good to go!
Members Darkstorm
Easy fix. take strings off, remove the 4 corner screws for pup surround. Lift pups out slowly and gently. Place peice of cut soft foam thats 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick in the pup pocket. Put pup back in and rescrew in the 4 screws. This is assuming stretching the springs isnt going to fix it. Ive had a few basses where they forgot to put in springs. So adjusting pups to taste height wise wasnt gonna happen unless either added springs or a peice of foam that was resilant enough to provide enough preassure against bottom of pup to lift it when doing the adjustment screws for pup hieght. The foam has added advantage over springs in that it gives better stability for pup so it doesnt slant forward or rearward like happens with some that just have the springs. Members 's mel gibson
I hate messing with those springs. The last time I was inside my LP Standard I launched a spring twice. The 2nd time, it hit the curtain and disappeared into the rug. I went to L&M and they gave me a free spring. After I got it on, I borrowed my girlfriend's nail polish and dabbed some on the ends of the bolts.
Members alphamarquis
May I recommend against replacing with strings and use some surgical tubing? Springs were replaced by all the major manufacturers for this reason.
Members BoneNut
Some really nice guitars come with a second screw that not only eliminates any movement but also lets you adjust the pickups relative angle to the strings.Maybe something like that could be adapted to the Studio?
