Members Joeballz
Jackson Dinky DK2T good guitars for the price? I know nothing about Jacksons. Never played one. Im looking for a guitar to play mostly grunge, rock, metal, etc. Its priced @ 700$. Its kinda a tossup between maybe this or ESP EC-1000 840$ except the EC-1000 has active pickups i was kinda heading towards seymour duncans. Let me know! Members Orange Jackson
I've had a DK2m for a little over a year. Cool guitar, love the Seymour's, Jazz and JB. A very versatile guitar, comfortable compound radius necks with a nice finish. I do wish the neck was a little fatter front to back from frets 1 thru 8 for rhythm, but it's close and I do like the neck quite a bit. Cts pots are good too. Over all it is a cool guitar if you can find one for the right price. ...$700 usd, I think I would pass... I wouldn't pay full retail for any guitar though. Members danhan1113
Dinky's are my favorite Jackson model. I've had 5 of them, and right now my #1 is the "cheap" DXMG. In all honesty, the DK2 models are extremely good guitars.
Members etepbbb
I have a DK2T, and a couple of Pro models. I honestly play the dinky more, there great guitars, as far as the choice between that or the ESP, it really comes down to personal taste.
Members atvdave
I really like the look of the pointy neck guitars. I've also been looking at the Jackson Dinky models. Currently have a Kramer Infinity Sustainer. http://www.vintagekramer.com/company52.htm
