Members bobc Posted January 2, 2010 Members Share Posted January 2, 2010 Picked up a Fender American Standard Stratocaster today. I got the 3 color sun burst... Click Here To See ... and It plays GREAT!!! I have a couple questions and will probably have more over the next few days or so. 1. How do I know how far to screw the tremolo bar in? 2. I put Elixer electric 10's on it. It comes with 9's and the ball ends look different on the ones that came with it. Could there be a problem with putting the Elixers on it? 3. Till it stops, or before then, depending on how freely you want it to swing... just don't force it. 2. no problem but 10's may mess up the setup... may need slight tweaks (neck etc...) 3. don't know about the delta tone, but if your google-fu is strong.... They range from $999.00 to $1,249.00 at the store. Anyway, I traded my breedlove that I got on clearance and because GC is running a special that gave me an additional 15% with a trade in, I didn't pay a penny, and they threw in 2 sets of strings as well.
