Members _Dangerbird_
Got an old 1996 Fender Mexico Std Stratocaster. Seller says, he doesnt know, if the pus are still original. I removed the pickguard and they look strange (although I dont know anything about strat pickups.. ). Can anyone say something about these? Help would be much appreciated. They dont sound too good too me. A bit too thin and harsh.

Members _Dangerbird_
look like stock ceramics that might explain the mediocre sound if its really the stock pickups, I will throw in a set of toneriders. the strat itself is awesome. like new condition and plays reallly really nice. Members tiltsta
Yep, those are stock fender MIM ceramic pickups. Worth upgrading for sure.

Members cratz2
Stockers for sure. Not terrible pickups as long as you play through a spectacular amp.
