Members laidback
I'm not happy with the pups in Patriot Phoenix (Maple over Mahogany, single cutaway.) I'm playing classic rock and southern rock thru a Silverface Pro Reverb. The other guitarist in the band uses a P90-equipped Hamer so I want to stay away from that tonal area. The Phoenix is setup with coil-splitting switches on the tone pots, but that's not a must for me. Members cratz2
So... how are you wanting the tone to change? Brighter, less muddy? Darker, not as harsh? Do you need a decent amount of variety or are you a 'set one or two tones and forget' kinda guy?
