Members broken_sound
I'm getting one of those fender classic players 50's strats this month and from the one's i've played, the pups aren't too hot. i was debating dropping in one of those GFS handwired neovin pickguards with their "fat vintage" set. Has anyone given these a chance?
Members vintage clubber
The pickups in that Classic player's '50's strat (57/62 set with RWRP middle) should be as good or better than the GFS stuff. I would suggest playing with the height adjustments on them to find their sweet spot. Specs from Fender's site: Designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Dennis Galuszka, the '50s Stratocaster guitar features an alder body, a maple neck with a 9.5" radius, 21 medium jumbo frets and Gotoh

Members vintage clubber
check the sig, i'll mainly use my ceriatone heywhat!? 504. not familiar with that amp. What have you been playing through at the store while testing these strats out? Are they too bright sounding or are you prefering the noiseless type? Members Vintage55
Can't speak for the Neovins, but I have a set of '70s Greybottom Overwounds and while I like how they sound, they're not really hot.
