Members Jkater
And why won't you sell it?
Members Carbohydrates
woop woop I don't sell it for three reasons! One: even though I have 3 LPs and I play the other two more, this one's still pretty rad both in terms of tone and looks. Two: I wouldn't get anywhere near what I put into it. Three: My taste does not equal everyone else's taste, and I believe it'd have a hard time selling due to the unique flavor I injected. I know this because I tried selling it twice and interest was pretty minimal (though some people loved it)! Also it's fun to mess with and mod. When I get bored, I {censored} with the LPVM. Members steve_man
my bass....I've had it too long...
Members ubernerd
Flying V '67 Though it gets the least amount of play time, I'll never sell it because it was my first "good" guitar, and my brother gave me half the money to buy it when graduated from high school. It has a lot of sentimental value for both of us.
Members Wyatt
No. Not tying up space and money over misplace sentiment. It's a consumer product.

Members twofoolsaminute
Yes, the Electra (the one on the left) It's old and needs some repairs, but I won't sell it. It was my first guitar and still the best sounding electric I ever played. I'll get her fixed up one of these days.
Members EADGBE
I play all of mine.
Members jrockbridge
My '92 Gibson MIII. I wore the frets down playing it in the early days. I bought it because I thought the switching system would make for versatile sound. I didn't know enough to realize it wasn't the right guitar for me at the time. I guess I'm sentimental about it because I can't seem to be bothered with selling it.
Members Mr_GoodBomb
Most everything. I end up playing bass mainly, and when I do play guitar, it's the tele. I have been because I know, if I sold them, I'd use them to buy another guitar, and right now, I have most of the things I could be convinced to buy. Members docjeffrey
Yeah, my Rick 360/12. I get enthused about it a couple of times a year, then it goes back into the case. It's almost time for me to pull it out and crank up the Vox amps.
Members Tidal Rhythm
My Martin SWJGT. Loved the sound when I bought it, but I've had shoulder issues and the jumbo body is just a bit uncomfortable for me to play.
Members Ancient Mariner
I have 2 at the moment: My first 'good' guitar, which is a Dynelectron guitarlin (copy of a Danelectro, but better) that is now retired. I tried to sell it a couple of times when I was still young and poor, but there's a lot of memories and good times in that guitar. The Godin xtSA I bought a couple of years back, because I want to see if I can make it so that I love to play it. When finances are a bit easier I hope to talk to Brian G about some pickups to sweeten the tone and give a bit more clarity. There's another couple of guitars that I don't really play right now that I'd let go without any qualms if a reasonable offer came along.

Members w00dsy
i got this from some money left to me by my grandmother when she died. I don't play it much these days but it has too much sentimental meaning so i'll never sell it.
Members Brian Krashpad
A few. Ol' Blue: Problematic active electronics makes it usable on a limited basis (not in quiet venues with distortion especially). But I played my first ever show with it. Sonia, '60 Duo-Sonic: Only ungiggable one, needs fret job. Refinished by my dad with just lemon oil. Bought in the '70's for sixty-some bucks. My longest-owned electric. My no-name MIJ acoustic (on left here with other acoustic instruments): I don't play much acoustic, and the Yammy 12er has way better tone. But the MIJ no-name is my first guitar, the one I learned on, and a gift from my Dad.
Members Zackb911
My Hagstrom Select Super Swede in Dirty Blonde is almost too gorgeous to sell despite the fact I never play it... The quilt top, maple bind, and color scheme are just awesome. Unfortunately the 25.5" scale just isn't me.
Members John Backlund
This. Never play it. It hangs on the wall in a basement room. (with five others, my 'guitar room'...as it were).
Members Lump
This was the first custom I ever had built. Loved it. But I had the guy put a bigger neck on later and as you can see from the second pic he didn't do a great job when he decided to enlarge the neck pocket. The trem is worn down now, only one pickup left in it. I can't get rid of her since she has alot of memories, and it's probably not worth anything. I need to rebuild it. Members Invader.CC
This is a JDS custom with Tele style neck interior Fishman pups custom made for the stage ..It is the only one i know of like it and could not be replaced...I just don't play it much as i also have a 72 Martin and a Aldens..I have used this on several studio recordings and on occasion break it out for other recordings but thats about it...It is also an excellent stage guitar it is only about 3 inches or less wide with amazing tone and action

Members dcindc
Nope. I got over that kind of thinking. I had several that I considered holy grail oddballs. But I sold em. Everything has a price.
