Members DaveGrima
http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/electric/stratocaster/vintage/twang_banger_ap/ Im seriously thinking of getting one of these for the bridge pos in my strat. Overwound ALnico 2 Singlecoil with a metal baseplate. Supposed to sound like a Tele bridge. No sound clips on youtube. So anyone have one of these? Members Tealightcandles
I'm curious now, I borrowed a friend's tele and love the bridge sound and am thinking this could be a way to cop that tone in my strat.
Members C-4
I heard one in a GC one day that had come in for repair, and had just been finished. It was in a Fender Strat and definitely made the lead pcikup sound as a Telecaster does. The guitar actually had better balance between the lead pickup and other pickups, but had that Tele twang and bite. I think it actually may be more useful then a stock Strat lead pickup. Be sure to hook up a tone control to the lead pickup when you do this. You'll need it sometimes.
